We seek an energetic Trainer and Instructional Designer with strong communication skills and expertise in training delivery and curriculum development. As a consultant for 6-9 months, you will play a key role in delivering impactful virtual and on-site training for Cloudinary’s customers, empowering them to optimize their image and video management efforts. This role is pivotal in fulfilling our customer obligations, supporting growth in existing accounts, and enhancing the adoption of Cloudinary products.

You will also leverage your instructional design skills to shape and adapt engaging, effective training content tailored to our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Instructional Design and Curriculum Development: Design and develop engaging, user-focused training content, including ILT and vILT, applying adult learning principles to align with customer use cases and Cloudinary product offerings.
• Training Delivery: Deliver tailored training sessions, both on-site and virtually, to diverse global audiences, ensuring mastery of Cloudinary products like Programmable Media and Cloudinary Assets.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Develop deep expertise in Cloudinary’s products to address customer questions confidently and refine training content based on the latest product updates and use cases.
• Customer Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to integrate customer challenges and goals into impactful training solutions.
• Performance and Impact Assessment: Measure training program success through product adoption and usage metrics, providing actionable feedback to improve curriculum and delivery.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple training projects and their associated timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring seamless integration with other Customer Success initiatives for the customers.
• Measures of SuccessTraining Delivery: Number of sessions delivered, customer satisfaction scores, and engagement metrics like attendance and participation.
• Learning Outcomes: Increased product adoption, usage rates, and demonstrable customer proficiency.
• Instructional Design: High-quality, relevant training materials with positive stakeholder and participant feedback.
• Customer Business Impact: Improved retention and expansion rates for trained accounts and positive feedback from Customer Success teams.
• Operational Efficiency: Timely delivery of projects and effective adaptation of training with minimal revisions.

About You:

• Proven experience in technical training and instructional design, particularly for software products, with delivery to users of varying technical expertise.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, capable of distilling complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging instruction.
• Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies, instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and e-learning platforms.
• Collaborative and adaptable, excelling in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for on-site training sessions, with the ability to tailor content to global audiences.
• Experience with Cloudinary is a significant advantage.
• Eastern Time Zone preferred to support North America and EMEA customers.

Additional Details:

• While most training sessions will be delivered virtually, travel to customer locations may be required for on-site training, not exceeding 50%
• As a consultant, weekly hours for this role may vary based on project needs, with some weeks requiring up to 40 hours of work and others with no assigned hours. Flexibility in scheduling will be necessary to accommodate business priorities and deliverables.
