Role Overview
We are seeking a production-focused Instructional Designer to support the development of a Capital Sales Enablement program for a global medical device organization. This role is responsible for translating sales strategies and SME input into high-quality, practical learning assets that drive behavior change across sales teams.
You will partner closely with a Lead Instructional Designer and sales stakeholders to build polished, instructionally sound deliverables that support a multi-month learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality learning assets including:
- PowerPoint-based training decks
- Articulate Rise courses (or similar tools)
- Job aids, playbooks, and performance support tools
- Translate sales SME input into clear, structured, and actionable content
- Support the build-out of learning journeys aligned to sales stages, pipeline progression, and required behaviors
- Apply strong visual design principles to create polished, professional deliverables
- Collaborate with Lead ID to ensure alignment with program architecture and objectives
- Rapidly iterate on content based on stakeholder and business feedback
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate to accelerate content development while maintaining quality
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–7+ years of instructional design experience (production-focused)
- Strong experience developing sales training or sales enablement content
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with a high level of visual polish (non-negotiable)
- Experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, or similar eLearning tools
- Strong writing and content structuring ability
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous SME input into clear, usable learning assets
- Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience in capital sales, medical device sales, or complex B2B sales environments
- Exposure to global or APAC sales teams
- Experience supporting multi-month learning journeys or enablement programs
Work Sample Requirement (Mandatory)
To be considered, candidates must provide 2–3 relevant work samples that demonstrate:
- PowerPoint-based training materials (sales-focused preferred)
- eLearning modules (Rise, Storyline, or similar)
- Job aids, playbooks, or performance support tools
Samples should clearly demonstrate your ability to:
- Translate sales strategies or SME input into actionable learning content
- Apply strong visual design and structure
- Create polished, professional deliverables that support real-world sales execution
Candidates without work samples will not be considered.
