Learning Experience Designer – Interactive Lessons
Learning Experience Designer – Interactive Lessons (EdTech / Serious Games)
About us
Mind Is Medicine (MIM) builds interactive lessons that strengthen real human capabilities… attention, emotional intelligence, resilience, self-regulation… through experience, not information dumps. Think branching dialogue, timed pauses, reflections, guided discovery, and real-life practice missions. Not slideware.
What you’ll do
-
Turn existing educational frameworks (already written… you’re not writing curriculum from scratch) into interactive learner journeys.
-
Design branching flows, storyboards, choices, pauses, feedback, and progression.
-
Map out the guide/avatar behavior and “what the learner should notice and discover.”
-
Prototype, test, refine.
You’re a fit if you
-
Have designed interactive learning, serious games, simulations, or coaching/behavioral products (3+ yrs).
-
Think in learner experiences, not screens.
-
Understand learning science, instructional design, or behavioral psychology.
-
Can show a portfolio of branching/interactive learning work.
The gig
Paid trial to start: we give you one lesson “Moment” and you show us how you’d transform it into an interactive experience… learner flow, interactions, pauses, choices, feedback, and your reasoning. Visual polish is secondary; we want to see how you think. Strong fit leads to ongoing contract work.
