Salary Range: $6,327 – $7,118 Monthly

 

JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical and functional support for the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, usage, analysis, and administration of the Learning Management System.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES

Knowledge 
• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred, with a major in computer science, education, or related field.
• Three years of relevant systems administration experience with learning management systems required, preferably with Docebo.
• In-depth knowledge of content management systems.
• Knowledge of JSON, HTML, HTML 5, CSS3, PowerShell, Excel Macros, Microsoft Windows.
• Experience with SQL database queries, relational databases, data extraction, data import/export procedures, FTP/SFTP processes, and data visualization tools.
• Experience integrating learning management systems with HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages Python and JavaScript for process automation.
• Knowledge and experience with publishing courseware using e-learning standards such as SCORM.
• Knowledge of Articulate 360 Storyline and Rise preferred.
• Familiarity with Power Automate or other workflow automation platforms.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with key resources, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and external vendors to achieve strategic goals.
• Proficiency with APIs and tools such as Postman, Swagger.

Skills/Abilities 
• Strong organizational skills, project management, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, proofread, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated use of high-level oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated use of interpersonal skills and sound judgment in resolving challenges.
• Proficiency with standard functions within applications such as Microsoft 365/Google, (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software), e-mail, web browsers, and databases.
• Proficiency with computers (PCs and/or MACs) to include file and desktop management and operations, and working in a cloud-based and/or networked environment.

• Exceptions to these requirements will be considered based on exemplary skills, training, and record of success.

PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES
• Ensure the efficient and effective implementation, maintenance, and operation of the learning management system to meet internal and external clients’ needs.
• Create/publish/archive online courses, add/delete accounts, set/adjust/maintain system parameters, add/delete resources, etc.
• Address technical issues and other system issues from identification through resolution.
• Identify the databases and integration points from/to the LMS and other systems.
• Use system integration tools and methods to sync data with other systems.
• Establish and maintain links to other online systems (e.g., vendor hosted courseware, synchronous distance-learning applications, HRMS, etc.).
• Complete daily tasks such as developing and sending status reports, responding to customer questions, publishing courseware, assisting instructional designers with technical issues, etc.
• Design and develop custom dashboards and reports for external and internal clients.
• Solve complex LMS-related problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Update database with current internal and external client data.
• Maintain the integrity of internal and external client records.
• Understand and articulate system requirements and constraints.
• Import and export data using appropriate file formats and FTP/SFTP sites.
• Provide customer service and technical/functional assistance to the technical support team and end users.
• Ensure that business requirements are clearly and comprehensively documented, understood, and properly implemented (including integration with other departments/workgroups).
• Ensure that non-functional business requirements are clearly defined (e.g., Service Level Agreements, performance requirements, performance guarantees, etc.).
• Evaluate security requirements (e.g., functional and technical access, etc.).
• Evaluate control requirements (e.g., batch controls, etc.).
• Conduct user acceptance testing of new learning technologies.
• Ensure that training and development programs in the LMS are continuously evaluated for relevancy and function.
• Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines related to the LMS and ensure users at all levels are trained in appropriate use.
• Develop and maintain organizational communication to ensure employees have knowledge of LMS protocol and structure.

SUPERVISION AND ORGANIZATION OF STAFF 
• None

BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY 
• Be aware of and follow Center guidelines of allowable costs when recommending use of public funds for expenditures for supplies, equipment, and facilities in area of assignment.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS 
• Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer, peripherals, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional standing, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
• Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
• Lifting: Light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); occasional heavy lifting/carrying (15–50 pounds).
• Environment: This role primarily operates in an in-person, dynamic office setting, characterized by frequent verbal communication, movement, and collaboration among team members (small to large in-person gatherings/meetings); exposure to low or intense illumination; exposure to office equipment noise; may work prolonged or irregular hours; occasional travel; and, occasional remote work (after pre-determined length of employment).
• Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Champion and model the Center’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Service Standards.
• Function within the policies and procedures of ESC-20.
• Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
• Dress and groom appropriately for the ESC-20 work setting.
• Travel independently to fulfill responsibilities of the position.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, majority in-person/onsite.
• Serve at the will of the Executive Director.
