Salary Range: $92,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

Position Purpose:
The Manager, Curriculum and eLearning Programs is responsible for the planning and development of curriculum, educational courses and training events which align to NICB Learning and Development (L&D) strategic goals. This position also has oversight of National Insurance Crime Training Academy (NICTA) eLearning training and learning management system (LMS) programs.
Work Arrangement and Description:
- This is a remote position which means NICB grants the privilege and flexibility to work from a location within the boundaries of the United States or its Territories.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design high quality curriculum and courses by effectively collaborating with subject matter experts, Office of General Counsel and instructional designers to ensure accuracy, compliance and engaging learning experiences.
- Facilitate effective delivery of established training offerings including eLearning courses, webinars, seminars, podcasts and academies/conferences and ensure impactful training offerings are provided to NICB Members, law enforcement partners and key stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of L&D NICTA eLearning to include needs assessment, instructional design process, content creation, LMS platform management and evaluation of training effectiveness.
- Utilize learning analytics, survey data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programs and provide informed recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist with implementation and management of strategic objectives and long-term curriculum roadmap which align to the established mission, vision and goals.
- Oversight and management of the budget development process to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and aligned with NICB and L&D strategic objectives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing eLearning team.
- Oversee customer service functions to ensure an outstanding learning experience for members, NICTA customers, law enforcement, key stakeholders and NICB team members.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of a degree, four years of related experience are required.
- 6 – 8 years of experience in learning and development required.
- Prior leadership experience required.
- Expertise in eLearning ecosystem required, including strong proficiency with LMS platforms and the full spectrum of digital tools and resources needed to design, develop and deliver training courses.
- Strong curriculum writing experience and experience creating eLearning courses for adult learners required.
- Extensive knowledge of learning principles, all aspects of training course development and instructional design principles preferred.
- Prior experience working in an insurance industry claims or investigations capacity, or prior law enforcement or intelligence and analytics experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in insurance fraud and crime preferred.

- Embraces new and innovative instructional methods and educational technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional technology tools adopted by the organization.
- Solid understanding of common learning management systems and interactive tools to include Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia and Vyond.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines while juggling multiple parallel projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will supervise assigned Learning and Development employees.

Salary Range and Statement:
The salary range for this position is $92,000 to $115,000. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
