Job Description
The Senior Curriculum Manager serves as the curriculum and instructional strategy lead for LEGO® Education in the U.S. market. This role ensures LEGO Education Science and Computer Science & AI solutions align with educational standards, district priorities, and classroom needs while helping shape product and business strategy.
As a strategic member of the Education Impact team, you will partner across Product, Sales, Marketing, Learning Design, Content Development, and global stakeholders to bring an educator’s perspective to decision-making, product development, and customer engagement. Acting as the curriculum voice for the U.S., you’ll influence priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and represent LEGO Education as a thought leader within the education community.

- The role is based out of our new Boston HUB location at 1001 Boylston Street. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.
Core Responsibilities
Curriculum Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the curriculum and instructional expert for LEGO Education Science and Computer Science & AI solutions in the U.S.
- Monitor trends in STEM, computer science, AI, and K-8 education to inform product and business strategy.
- Conduct standards reviews, curriculum evaluations, and gap analyses to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Provide strategic guidance on curriculum investments, educational priorities, and product opportunities.
Standards & Subject Matter Expertise
- Maintain expertise in key educational frameworks, including Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Standards, ISTE Standards & State and district curriculum frameworks.
- Ensure products and learning experiences align with standards, support student outcomes, and meet district needs.
- Translate educational requirements into actionable recommendations for product, content, and learning teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Management
- Partner with Product, Learning Design, Content Development, Marketing, Sales, and Solution Architect teams throughout the product life cycle.
- Represent the educational perspective in strategic planning, prioritization, and business discussions.
- Develop educational business cases and recommendations to support commercial and product decisions.
- Lead curriculum-related projects in collaboration with U.S. and global teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate the development of instructional resources, implementation materials, and educator support assets.
Thought Leadership & External Engagement
- Represent LEGO Education at national and regional conferences, including ISTE, CSTA, NSTA, SXSW, EDU, and similar events.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and professional learning experiences for educators and administrators.
- Build relationships with district leaders, curriculum teams, and educational organizations to strengthen LEGO Education’s presence and impact.
- Gather educator and market feedback to inform future product and curriculum strategies.

Do You Have What It Takes?
- Master’s degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, Science Education, Computer Science Education, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, or related fields.
- K-8 classroom teaching experience in Science, Computer Science, STEM, or related fields.
- Experienced in curriculum leadership, instructional design, educational product development, or related education roles.
- Deep expertise in K-8 Science and/or Computer Science education.
- Strong knowledge of NGSS, CSTA, ISTE, and curriculum standards implementation.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading strategic initiatives.
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Curriculum Manager, Director of Curriculum, Instructional Leader, or similar district-level role.
- Experience working within educational technology, digital learning, or curriculum publishing organizations.
- Familiarity with AI, computational thinking, and emerging technologies in education.
- Experience supporting district implementation of curriculum or instructional technology solutions.
- Experience presenting at regional or national education conferences.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 – $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
