About the Role

McGraw Hill is seeking a Senior Manager of Learning & Development to transform organizational capability and performance. You’ll design and execute enterprise-wide learning strategies that develop emerging leaders, enable talent growth, and drive measurable business impact across our global organization.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You’ll Own: 

Strategic Leadership Development

  • Drive the design and delivery of scalable leadership programs across all levels. Build leaders who coach effectively, drive performance conversations, and foster high-performing teams—combining in-person workshops, virtual learning, and cutting-edge eLearning solutions.

Business-Aligned Learning Strategy

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to translate organizational priorities into targeted development initiatives. Measure ROI, refine programs based on data insights, and ensure learning initiatives directly improve engagement, retention, and performance outcomes.

End-to-End Program Delivery

  • Own the full lifecycle of learning programs from needs assessment through design, deployment, and optimization. Build scalable, globally relevant solutions for distributed teams and emerging organizational needs.

Organizational Transformation

  • Enable leaders to navigate change, scale teams effectively, and strengthen our high-performance culture through strategic learning interventions and talent enablement.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education, or related field)
  • 7–10+ years in L&D, Talent Management, or Organizational Development
  • Proven track record designing and scaling leadership development programs
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory and modern learning practices
  • Operates effectively both strategically and tactically in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable traveling up to 25%

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in global/matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with learning platforms (LMS/LXP)
  • Coaching certification
  • Data-driven program measurement skills

The pay range for this position is between $130,000 – $160,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
