Location: Remote within the U.S. (except in AK, HI, ID, LA, MT, NM, ND, OK, OR, VT, WV, and WY)   

Hours: Part-time (20 Hours/Week)

The National Training Administrator HS/PRS is primarily responsible for maintaining, managing, updating, and auditing Bethany’s HS/PRS Program’s SharePoint page, communicating information from national leadership to program operations, while also identifying and implementing training opportunities within the HS/PRS program.

This individual will also be responsible for working collaboratively with the HS/PRS leadership team, National Training Coordinator and Branch Directors to ensure all trainings are compliant with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as funder and licensing requirements. The National Training Administrator HS/PRS will serve as the subject matter expert on all HS/PRS training course requirements in Cornerstone, while also working collaboratively with HS/PRS Training Coordinator to ensure training compliance in accordance with licensing and contractual requirements for all program employees.

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining, managing, updating, and auditing Bethany’s learning management system, Cornerstone.

This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the administration of the program training requirements in the Learning Management System (LMS) to include but not limited to addressing programmatic issues;
  • Assign trainings and courses to users in LMS;
  • Update and maintain Policy and Procedure courses in Cornerstone to ensure they are in an easily updatable format and contain relevant information;
  • Audit and update HS/PRS courses in Cornerstone to ensure accuracy and relevance;
  • Ensure attendance is recorded in Cornerstone for trainings provided by Bethany;
  • Edit videos of recorded meetings, create Rise courses, and work with Bethany’s Learning and Development Coordinator to ensure videos and courses are uploaded in Cornerstone;
  • Create advertising flyers in Canva and other programs for HS/PRS trainings;
  • Compile training evaluation data and share summaries with National Training Coordinator;
  • Collaborate with National Training Coordinator to develop a thorough and succinct training plan;
  • Support in the maintenance of HS/PRS SharePoint page, ensuring procedures, resources, content, and training opportunities are relevant and updated;
  • Create and edit monthly and quarterly staff spotlights for HS/PRS;
  • Manage HS/PRS feedback forms through Click Up and other mediums;
  • Assist with Conference planning and coordination, as needed;
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of compliance driven curriculum in collaboration with HS/PRS leadership;
  • Work collaboratively on special projects, as assigned;
  • Collaborate with National Training Coordinator to generate and distribute training reports that are concise, informative, and actionable to all levels of staff, when requested;
  • Complete other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s level degree in study from an accredited college;
  • At least two (2) years of experience in instructional design;
  • Prior work experience in a child and family welfare agency, a plus;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development and training compliance practices;
  • Must possess strong organizational skills;
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks;
  • Exercise a high level of confidentiality;
  • Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite,
  • Highly motivated and self-managed;
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment.
