Role Overview

The Learning & Development Associate is responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of training programs and learning initiatives.

This role ensures alignment with organizational development goals, supports continuous learning efforts, and helps maintain training records and systems.

As part of the Talent Development team, this role will:

  • Assist with designing learning content
  • Support the management of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance employee development and engagement

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates our core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Assist in creating engaging and effective learning content using instructional design principles
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather input for training needs
  • Help manage, update, and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Track and organize training records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Support the design and development of learning content and training programs
  • Ensure learning initiatives are consistent and aligned with company values and objectives
  • Assist with general administrative logistics of programs (printing, compiling materials, scheduling, etc.)
  • Stay up to date on learning trends, tools, and best practices to improve development offerings

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program (Psychology, HR, Education, or related field)
  • Interest in or currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, Learning & Development, or related field
  • Experience with creating learning content using instructional design principles
  • Exposure to authoring tools (Articulate, Canva, or similar programs)
