Description
Position: Instructional Technologist
Position Status: Full – Time Exempt
Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, may include some evening hours and some planned Saturdays
Reports to: Design Team Manager
Location: Online Education Division (Orchard Park, NY): This position is fully remote after six months of successful employment, with occasional on-Campus days throughout the year thereafter.
Summary:
The Instructional Technologist is responsible for the development of new course builds and the redesign of existing courses. The Instructional Technologist works collaboratively with Design Team Manager, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Curriculum Managers, and Course Developers in order to meet rigor standards, student-learning outcomes, and student usability standards. This position is best suited to someone who prefers a fast-paced environment, adapts to change and seeks to actively develop new skills and grow in understanding of learning and technology.
