About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quick Service Training Director to design, build, and lead a scalable training function across a multi-unit operation. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end curriculum development, leading a team of trainers, and driving consistency in execution across multiple locations.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on role ideal for someone who has successfully built training programs from the ground up and led trainers in fast-paced, multi-location environments (restaurant, retail, franchise, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive training curriculum for multi-unit operations, including onboarding, operational excellence, leadership development, and ongoing education
  • Build and implement standardized training programs to ensure consistency across all locations
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of trainers and facilitators
  • Create and maintain:
    • Facilitator guides
    • Participant materials
    • Assessments and certification programs
  • Partner with operations leadership to align training with business goals and performance outcomes
  • Oversee training rollouts across multiple locations, ensuring adoption and execution
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and performance data
  • Leverage and/or implement Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track progress and scale delivery
  • Continuously improve training programs based on operational needs and feedback

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience building curriculum from scratch (not just delivering training)
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing trainers or training teams
  • Strong background in multi-unit environments (restaurant, retail, franchise, hospitality, or similar)
  • Experience designing training for scalable, multi-location operations
  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and training technology
  • Ability to translate operational processes into effective training programs
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel across multiple locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in quick-service or fast-paced operational environments
  • Background in leadership development and performance management training
  • Experience supporting rapid growth or scaling organizations
