We are seeking a high-level  Instructional Designer to collaborate with Dr. Sherry Walling (psychologist, author, and circus artist) to develop a series of four 2-hour Continuing Education (CEU) courses. These courses explore the intersection of mental health and embodiment.

The content must be extracted directly from Dr. Sherry through interviews, existing talk transcripts, and raw notes. We are starting with a single course as a paid trial, with the intent to move into a 4-course series.

Key Responsibilities:

SME Extraction: Conduct structured interviews with Dr. Sherry to distill complex psychological and somatic concepts into a clear pedagogical framework.

Curriculum Architecture: Map out a 2-hour learner journey, including modules, learning objectives (Bloom’s Taxonomy), and course flow.

Scriptwriting: Draft video scripts that maintain Dr. Sherry’s unique, professional voice.

Guest Integration: Strategize the inclusion of guest experts to ensure their contributions align with the core learning objectives.

CEU Compliance: Design post-tests, quizzes, and worksheets that meet professional licensing board standards (APA, NBCC, etc.).

Qualifications:

Experience in Instructional Design (within the Mental Health – Psychology fields is a plus)

Proven track record of SME Extraction—turning an expert’s raw knowledge into a structured course without a pre-existing manuscript.

Experience designing for CEU accreditation is highly valued.

Ability to write scripts for video/audio

Familiarity with embodiment and somatic practices is a plus.
