Role Scope: 

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer that is responsible for designing scalable, high‑quality learning experiences that build capability across the organization. This role owns the instructional design framework, partners cross‑functionally to translate subject‑matter expertise into effective learning, and ensures content is measurable, consistent, and aligned to competency expectations. The Senior ID brings deep expertise in adult learning, digital learning development, and assessment strategy to create learning that drives performance and business outcomes. 

  • Owns the instructional design framework, guidelines, and toolkit, ensuring consistent quality and methodology across all learning solutions. 
  • Designs and builds eLearning courses, including storyboards, prototypes, and final digital assets using modern authoring tools including AI driven tools 
  • Consults with facilitators and program owners on live training design, ensuring sessions are instructionally sound, engaging, and aligned to learning objectives. 
  • Maintains the learning content library, including version control, updates, and lifecycle management to ensure accuracy and relevance. 
  • Designs assessments that align to learning outcomes and support data‑driven evaluation of learner progress and program effectiveness. 
  • Partners with SMEs and other stakeholders to translate role‑specific knowledge into scalable, repeatable learning experiences. 
  • Advises stakeholders on instructional best practices, learning modalities, and solution design to ensure learning meets business needs. 
  • Partners with L&D leadership and other People team leaders to ensure instructional design work remains aligned to business strategy and People team KPIs. 
  • Collaborates with L&D, HRBPs, and business leaders to ensure learning solutions support capability development and organizational priorities. 

Qualifications:  

  • 5–7+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and digital learning development. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing end‑to‑end learning ecosystems and scalable solutions including use of innovative learning modalities, tools, and systems. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading multiple, complex, cross-functional projects and driving alignment across stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in designing assessments and using learning data to inform design decisions. 
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence SMEs and stakeholders. 
  • Expertise with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, AI video content creation) and learning management systems. 
  • Aligns with our purpose and our values, and is excited about living those out in daily practice  

Nice to have: 

  • Experience working in a value-based care or elder care/PACE environment. 

Compensation:  

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, paid parental leave (birthing and non-birthing parents), short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $82,000 – $103,000 and is bonus eligible. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
