Job Summary:

Embark on a dynamic role as the Pathways Program Lead at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In this position, you’ll lead the coordination of Pathways programs in the Dept of Psychiatry in various training programs, ensuring high-quality education experiences. From planning educational events and seminars to managing recruitment and fostering growth in training, this multifaceted role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the Department of Psychiatry’s training initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the PURPLE, Nursing, Social Work and Student program lifecycles from the application phase through the end of the trainee term, including budget management and everyday admin responsibilities.
  • Prepare materials for didactics and educational sessions such as handouts, flyers, etc.
  • Trainee onboarding including HCM updates, background checks, scheduling, orientation, calendaring, allocating pay, registering for benefits, registering for CHCO and UCH systems and badges, setting up required trainings, and completing HR requirements including I-9 documentation.
  • Actively work to make the candidate experience inclusive and welcoming.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of academic seminars, didactics, symposiums, and educational programming across Pathways programs.
  • Assist with curriculum-related tracking, collection of trainee feedback, and preparation of program outcome data to support continuous improvement and annual reporting.
  • Coordinate with faculty, Training Directors, and program leadership to ensure educational requirements, learning objectives, and trainee schedules are aligned with program goals.

Work Location:

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.  
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in complex program or administrative support.   
    • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.  
    • An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in the following areas is preferred: 
  • Complex program support in an academic or medicine setting 
  • Designing and implementing academic programs, including seminars, didactics, and symposia. 
  • Managing student workers and interns using CU programs and systems, with expertise in onboarding, payroll, and annual evaluations. 
  • Maintaining and updating application processes, managing interview schedules, and contributing to candidate selection meetings. 
  • Educational and administrative support to students throughout internship programs, demonstrating mentorship and institutional knowledge. 
  • Managing communications and media presence for educational programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.  
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. 
  • Outstanding customer service skills and administrative skills, including calendar management, event coordination, financial tracking, and communications management. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various key stakeholders, including faculty, directors, and other coordinators, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in various academic, administrative, and HR functions. 
  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to work with diverse populations. 
  • Data tracking and analysis in systems like Microsoft Office, CU Data or HCM, particularly in preparing longitudinal program outcomes  
  • High level of integrity with ability to exercise strict confidentiality.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $60,905 – $77,472.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
