





























Job Summary
The Associate Instructional Portfolio Manager (Associate IPM) and Instructional Portfolio Manager (IPM) are members of the instructional support team that partners with Gies College of Business faculty to plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality online courses.
Associate IPM also: Assigned to a largely consistent portfolio of high-enrollment courses, the Associate IPM supports the planning, delivery, and evaluation of online courses. Working under the guidance of a Senior IPM, the Associate IPM assists in coordinating course operations, supporting faculty and graders, and ensuring that each course in the assigned portfolio runs smoothly from pre-launch through closeout. Contributes to the delivery of high-quality online learning experiences.
IPM also: Assigned to a largely consistent portfolio of high-enrollment courses, the IPM serves as the primary liaison between faculty and the grading team, ensuring that each course runs efficiently from pre-launch through closeout. Manages preparation and support infrastructure, coordinates with key partners (learning designers, synchronous course facilitators, the data team, and the instructional team), and facilitates continuous improvement through post-course evaluation. Mentors grading staff and promotes operational consistency, quality, and instructional excellence across the portfolio.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5002 – Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after search close date. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience while also considering internal equity. The budgeted salary range for the Associate Instructional Portfolio Manager is $57,000 to $59,000 and for the Instructional Portfolio Manager is $61,000 to $63,000.
This position is eligible for sponsorship except for sponsorship of a new H1B petition that would incur the $100,000 fee.
Remote work options may be available for this position; however, must be available to be onsite at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus based on operational needs.
