About the role

We need a Data Entry Clerk to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our learning programs. You’ll own data accuracy, system hygiene, and the pipelines that connect our L&D tools—so that our team can focus on strategy and design instead of chasing down missing records.

What you’ll do

• Audit and clean existing learner and course data across our L&D systems; flag inconsistencies and document remediation steps
• Set up and maintain data entry workflows and templates to reduce errors at source
• Manage day-to-day data uploads, roster updates, and system integrations (e.g., HRIS to LMS syncs)
• Build and monitor dashboards or reports that track data quality and system health
• Document processes and train team members on data standards and entry protocols
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with tool vendors or IT to resolve system issues

In your first year, you’ll transform how we manage learning data—moving from manual workarounds to reliable, auditable systems. That foundation opens doors: you could grow into a learning operations role, specialize in LMS administration, or move into analytics and reporting as our programs scale.

What we’re looking for

Required:

• 2+ years of data entry, data administration, or learning operations experience
• Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and databases; SQL or API basics a real plus
• Obsessive attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to document processes clearly and communicate data issues to non-technical stakeholders

Strong plus:

• Experience with an LMS (Cornerstone, Workday, Canvas, Moodle) or HRIS
• Familiarity with data validation tools or ETL concepts
• Track record of improving data workflows or reducing manual entry

About the role environment

Motiftales is building its L&D function from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our learning strategy and instructional design teams, but you’ll own the data side independently. This is a hands-on role in a growing org—expect to wear multiple hats early on, and to see your work directly improve how the team operates.
