Position Summary

Position responsible for education and training activities, development of materials, organization of programs and monitoring their success.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops educational framework for seminars, conferences and in-service programs.
  • Develops educational materials including Q & A documents, overheads, slides, forms and other teaching tools.
  • Generates Quarterly Newsletter.
  • Maintains website.
  • Develops departmental education program, including on federal regulatory compliance.
  • Establishes educational programs for: investigators and research support staff; members of Committees (including faculty and staff); and departmental staff.
  • Provides ongoing one-on-one education as needed for anyone in the WashU Medical Center research community.
  • Maintains education and training program files.
  • Analyzes submission materials/committee letters and prepares reports to determine needs and to measure the program’s success.
  • Acts as liaison to departments/divisions, investigators and their support staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$58,400.00 – $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
