Position Summary
The Learning and Teaching Nexus (Nexus) at NYU’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) seeks a Learning Designer who will collaborate with faculty on the development and implementation of evidence-based teaching strategies to support the educational goals of SPS faculty and the School. The position is also responsible for developing and facilitating pedagogy workshops, conducting teaching consultations, observations, supporting teaching initiatives, and collaborating with Nexus colleagues. Additionally, the Learning Designer will support the Director, Operations and Learning on teaching support services, programs and other teaching-related priorities, as well as coordinate services with other NYU units.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $98,000.00 to USD $118,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
