We are launching a pilot program for a self-paced, online learning platform and seeking a Project Manager  to coordinate and execute core production workflows. In this role, you will serve as the connective link across internal content, rights, marketing, and platform teams, as well as external vendors and platform partners, ensuring organized handoffs and steady operational continuity across course development. Reporting to the Associate Director, Workflow Optimization, your work directly supports our mission to build brand-new, engaging online learning experiences.

Scope of Services

• You’ll coordinate and manage production workflows for self-paced online learning content, maintaining project setup, task creation, checklist tracking, and course timelines.
• You’ll track workflow progress and resolve blockers by actively maintaining Jira tickets, subtasks, and task statuses across multiple courses.
• You’ll facilitate content-processing operations across lecture slides, credited images, ePUB workflows, and delivery handoffs.
• You’ll document production schedules, project materials, and status reports to preserve operational continuity.
• You’ll organize production calls, prepare agendas, distribute follow-up action items, and maintain cross-functional stakeholder communication.
• You’ll support vendor onboarding efforts, external partner coordination, and related operational documentation.
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams to identify workflow pain points, recommend process refinements, and support system automation initiatives.

Expected Deliverables and Outcomes

• Production Schedules & Jira Tracking: Fully configured and actively maintained Jira boards, course task lists, and production timelines reflecting current task statuses and resolved blockers across all active courses.
• Content Handoff Packages: Completed content-processing assets—including slides, credited images, and ePUB files—prepared and delivered according to course delivery standards.
• Meeting & Operational Documentation: Timely distribution of agendas, action-item recaps, vendor onboarding documentation, and project status reports for weekly production meetings.
• Workflow Optimization Recommendations: Documented process refinements and pain-point assessments to support process automation and operational continuity for the pilot initiative.

Required Capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex project workflows and track multi-team deliverables across varied stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Proven capability in written and verbal communication, with an ability to coordinate clearly across internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently, identify operational blockers, adapt to evolving processes, and maintain project momentum.

Preferred Capabilities

• Demonstrated experience supporting digital content, publishing, educational content, or edtech workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with Jira or similar project management tracking tools.
• Experience creating process documentation, managing asset workflows, or supporting workflow automation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience coordinating external vendors or partner deliverables.
