Job summary:
The Food Animal Production Medicine (FAPM) section within the Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist with and support the design, development, and enhancement of applied research initiatives, instructional activities, and outreach programs in dairy production medicine.
The candidate will join a unique team of 8 dairy cattle specialists with leading expertise in calf health, internal medicine, lameness, mastitis, reproduction, epidemiology, facility design, and animal welfare, who perform extensive outreach across Wisconsin and the United States as well as lead active, field-based research programs in collaboration with dairy producers and veterinarians.
