Production Designer
Our client is seeking an experienced Production Designer to provide short-term design support for client-related projects. This is an execution-focused role for a designer who can take established creative concepts, templates, and brand guidelines and translate them into polished deliverables across different formats, dimensions, and orientations.
This position does not involve developing new brand identities or original creative concepts. The Production Designer will work with our client’s internal team to adapt and execute approved designs accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
Contract Details
- Contract duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks
- Expected hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase based on project needs
- Maximum hours: Up to 40 hours per week with prior approval
- Location: Fully remote
- Schedule: Must be available to collaborate during Eastern Time business hours
- Communication: Internal client team communication only
- Start date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
- Execute design work based on established creative concepts, templates, and brand guidelines
- Adapt existing designs across different file formats, dimensions, and orientations
- Design and format polished presentations and client-facing decks
- Build and refine reusable presentation and design templates
- Prepare materials for digital, presentation, and print applications
- Maintain visual consistency across multiple deliverables
- Manage typography, imagery, spacing, layout, and overall production quality
- Incorporate internal feedback and complete revisions accurately and efficiently
- Organize and prepare final files for internal review and delivery
- Balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
- Communicate project status, questions, and potential delays proactively with internal team members
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in production design, graphic design, presentation design, or a closely related field
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Proficiency with Figma
- Demonstrated experience adapting approved designs across multiple formats and dimensions
- Experience designing presentation decks and building reusable templates
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and brand consistency
- Exceptional attention to detail and file-management practices
- Ability to work quickly and accurately within established creative direction
- Ability to receive feedback and make revisions without extensive oversight
- Availability during Eastern Time business hours
- Portfolio demonstrating strong production, presentation, and layout-design work
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with a creative agency, communications firm, consulting firm, or corporate design team
- Experience producing executive-level or client-facing presentations
- Familiarity with PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Experience working with established corporate brands and detailed brand guidelines
- Availability to begin immediately
