We are searching for a motivated Technical Specialist to join our team part-time. This is a varied role—perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. One day you might be writing a knowledge base article, the next troubleshooting a client support issue, updating our WordPress site, or editing a product demo video. If you’re a quick learner who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and occasionally sharing your best Spotify playlist or cat meme, you’ll fit right in.

This role has the potential for growth and expanded responsibilities.

What you will be doing:

Customer Support and Documentation

• Assist the support team in triaging and resolving customer requests and technical issues.
• Assist clients with the use and setup of LTI 1.1 and 1.3 in various LMSs, including Canvas, Moodle, Brightspace, Schoology etc.
• Assist clients with administration and support of the Moodle LMS.

Web & Product Support

• Perform updates and improvements to the CourseArc website (WordPress experience a plus) to ensure the best user experience.
• Provide technical support for product development and AI-related features as needed.
• Write clear, user-friendly supporting documentation and articles for our knowledge base and website.

Multimedia

• Assist with video editing, captioning, and publishing.
• Support sales and marketing teams with ad hoc technical needs.

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or related field OR 3–5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with LMS administration, SaaS platforms, and AI tools is strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Proficiency with website content management systems (WordPress preferred).
• Experience with video editing software (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
• Ability to analyze and report on web/email/social performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• U.S. Citizenship and Residency Required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
