Our Instructional Design team within the Human Resources organization creates engaging, effective training that supports associates across all lines of business, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to perform at their best. We partner closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to transform complex processes into clear, impactful learning experiences. Our team exists to drive organizational success through scalable, high-quality learning that empowers every associate to grow and deliver exceptional results.
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will contribute to the vision of delivering TUCE (The Unparalleled Customer Experience) to UMB’s associates and customers. In this role, you would be responsible for collaborating with learning and performance consultants and other instructional designers to ensure we design and develop content that is consistent with a commitment toward continuous improvement. You will leverage your knowledge of learning science, apply your creative abilities, and use your technical e-learning skills to develop content enterprise-wide. This role is best suited for someone with strong e-learning and technical acumen, and a passion for expanding the value instructional design can add to our team and our internal customers. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by HR leadership.
This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but only within the US.

Compensation Range:
$69,230.00 – $149,000.00
