Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Intuit Academy is building the next generation of expert talent powering TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and the broader Intuit platform. Demand is growing rapidly, increasing the need to convert and engage learners effectively across the funnel.

The next phase is scaling how that demand translates into learner progression and completion.

We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to own the end-to-end conversion and engagement system across Intuit Academy’s public-facing website (academy.intuit.com), responsible for how learner demand translates into meaningful progress and completion.

This is a system-level role. You will operate as the product owner of the conversion funnel, partnering closely with lifecycle marketing and content to translate learner behavior, feedback, and demand signals into shipped product experiences.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Conversion & Engagement System Define and drive the product strategy that improves end-to-end learner progression from visitor → enrollment → engagement → completion.

  • Identify and prioritize the highest-impact friction points across the funnel
  • Build a roadmap focused on conversion, engagement, and progression
  • Define success metrics tied to conversion efficiency and learner outcomes
  • Ensure demand scales into outcomes

Product Execution: End-to-End Experience Leadership Lead the Intuit Academy website experience and deliver high-impact product improvements.

  • Act as the single point of accountability for backlog prioritization and end-to-end delivery of conversion and engagement improvements
  • Translate ambiguous business problems and learner needs into clear product requirements, PRDs, and actionable engineering tasks that drive end-to-end delivery
  • Lead design and delivery of core experiences including onboarding, navigation, and progression flows
  • Drive UX testing and experimentation to improve conversion rates across funnel
  • Build systems for progress visibility, next-best actions, and learner guidance
  • Deliver personalization and AI-driven experiences that adapt to learner intent and behavior

Learner Experience & Behavioral Design: Translate behavioral insights and learning science into product experiences that drive progression and skill development.

  • Apply behavioral science and learner research to reduce friction and improve progression across the learning journey
  • Design experiences that make learning pathways clear, actionable, and tied to real outcomes
  • Build systems that develop learner confidence through practice, feedback, and guided progression
  • Drive behavior change by integrating learning directly into the product experience, so learners take the right actions as they progress
  • Ensure experiences are intuitive, low-friction, and aligned to how learners build and apply skills over time

Platform & Technical Ownership: Operate effectively across a complex product and platform environment.

  • Drive the evolution of the learner experience toward a more unified, scalable platform, navigating tradeoffs across systems, integrations, and architecture
  • Design across LMS platforms, embedded and iframed experiences, and integrated systems
  • Drive solutions that connect multiple tools through APIs and shared data flows
  • Make tradeoffs that balance speed, scalability, and long-term platform integrity
  • Serve as the engineering anchor, aligning priorities and ensuring end-to-end delivery

Data-Driven Product Management: Use data as the primary driver of product decisions.

  • Define and own core metrics across conversion and engagement
  • Use experimentation, analytics, and behavioral signals to prioritize work
  • Partner to build dashboards and generate actionable insights
  • Translate data into clear product decisions and executive narratives

Cross-Functional Leadership & Product Escalation: Lead through influence across a highly interdependent system.

  • Partner closely with engineers, marketing, content and product design stakeholders to unify demand, messaging, and product experience
  • Drive alignment on priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs across teams
  • Surface and escalate product gaps that materially impact conversion and learner outcomes
  • Ensure critical work is prioritized and delivered against business impact

Qualifications

Required

  • 8–10+ years of PM experience, including ownership of complex, high-scale products
  • Proven track record building and scaling conversion, engagement, or retention systems
  • Strong product strategy skills with the ability to define and operate at a system level
  • Deep experience with experimentation and data-driven product development
  • Experience operating across complex tech environments and multiple systems
  • Strong technical fluency (APIs, system integrations, platform tradeoffs)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving, cross-functional environments
  • Experience in EdTech, learning platforms, or certification systems
  • Experience operating across fragmented systems and evolving products toward more unified platform architectures

Preferred

  • Experience applying behavioral science to product design
  • Familiarity with lifecycle systems and how they integrate with product experiences
  • Experience in marketplaces, workforce platforms, or multi-sided ecosystems
