McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for a K-5 Science Academic Design Supervisor.  The K-5 Science Academic Design Supervisor role at McGraw Hill is pivotal in shaping the educational landscape, empowering learners and contributing to a brighter future where the science of learning meets the art of teaching. We’re harnessing technology to enhance learning, both inside and outside of the classroom, deepening the connections between students and educators to empower greater success. 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with an end date of 4/30/2027.

What you will be doing:   

  • Supervising a dynamic team of Academic Designers, guiding their efforts to create impactful educational content.
  • Managing external vendors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams to develop K-5 Science programs from inception to execution.
  • Making informed decisions to optimize resource allocation and manage operational initiatives for tactical delivery.
  • Utilizing external perspectives to enhance products and services, articulating customer needs to drive meaningful solutions.
  • Ensuring that all content developed meets the highest standards of academic integrity and quality.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, English language arts, science, or a related field.
  • Classroom teaching experience is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of science curriculum development and educational publishing experience with a focus on Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to allocate resources and manage vendors.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading diverse teams, working proactively both cross-functionally and hierarchically, and building strong relationships at all levels.

The pay range for this position is between $71,300 – $83,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
