About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced LMS Administrator with strong Cornerstone LMS experience to support the deployment and data collection of new learning programs.

The initial engagement will focus on preparing training programs for launch by uploading and organizing content, configuring courses and learner assignments, establishing permissions, and helping the team implement practical reporting through Cornerstone and Power BI.

Beyond supporting the initial rollout, this individual will help establish repeatable processes and lightweight documentation so the internal team can confidently manage ongoing course administration and future learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain learning programs within Cornerstone LMS.
  • Upload, organize, and manage learning content and course assets.
  • Configure courses, curricula, learner assignments, learning groups, permissions, and other LMS settings.
  • Support the successful launch of new training initiatives by ensuring content and learner access are configured accurately.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and recommend practical reporting solutions.
  • Create and maintain simple Power BI dashboards to track key learning metrics, including:
    • Course enrollments
    • Learner progress
    • Course completions
    • Assessment scores
  • Advise the team on Cornerstone reporting capabilities and available learning metrics.
  • Validate reporting accuracy and troubleshoot LMS configuration or reporting issues.
  • Develop simple Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and documentation for common LMS administration tasks.
  • Train and enable internal team members on routine Cornerstone administration processes and reporting workflows.
  • Recommend practical improvements to learning operations, LMS administration, and reporting processes as the organization’s needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience administering Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience configuring courses, curricula, learner assignments, permissions, and reporting within Cornerstone.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Learning & Development programs.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and the ability to build clear, practical dashboards from LMS data.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into effective LMS configurations and reporting solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience launching enterprise learning programs or large-scale course deployments.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, xAPI, or other eLearning standards.
  • Experience creating LMS documentation, SOPs, or administrator guides.

Engagement Details

The initial engagement is expected to require approximately 60–120 hours and will focus on establishing a strong operational foundation, including:

  • Configuring and launching learning programs within Cornerstone.
  • Organizing and deploying learning content.
  • Setting up learner assignments, permissions, and course administration processes.
  • Building foundational Power BI dashboards to provide visibility into key learning metrics.
  • Creating practical SOPs and documentation to support the internal team.
  • Providing knowledge transfer to enable ongoing day-to-day LMS administration.

Following implementation, this role has the potential to transition into ongoing, flexible support throughout the year for future course launches, content updates, LMS enhancements, reporting requests, and additional learning initiatives.
