Position Description
Are you detailed, meticulous and process oriented? Are you interested in learning how to create effective materials to help others learn? If so, Seattle Public Utilities, has a wonderful internship opportunity within our Training and Development (T&D) team to learn about instructional design and material creation. The intern will work closely with experts to assist with the development and maintenance of learning content and resources.

The duration of this internship is expected to last up to two (2) years or graduation, whichever comes first.
We require a minimum 1-year commitment for this internship.

Qualifications
Education:
Exception: Students are not required to be enrolled during the summer sessions but must provide documentation of continued Fall enrollment at end of Spring quarter.
Additional Information
Hours: During school sessions, work hours will be scheduled to complement class schedules (15-20 hours per week). The internship opportunity may permit up to 40 hours per week during breaks and summer months. Work is normally between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

These internships allow for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. During breaks, interns may work up to 40 hours per week and will be required to come into the office twice a week. However, while school is in session, individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
