About the Teaching and Learning Support Service
At the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS), our work in the fields of university education and techno-pedagogy is two-fold: we support the efforts of faculty members so that their teaching methods are more engaging for the student population. Our faculty support allows students to receive a flexible, high-quality education and to benefit from the appropriate use of technology, both of which have a direct impact on the student experience at the University of Ottawa.
Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Educational and Digital Development, oversees the operational management of educational development, instructional design and digital development activities within the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS). In this capacity, the incumbent plans, coordinates and supervises the sector’s projects, programs, training sessions and events to ensure efficient, consistent and high-quality delivery.
Working closely with the senior manager, translates strategic guidance into operational action plans, coordinates resources and ensures that the sector’s objectives are met. As a university teaching expert, contributes directly to educational development and instructional design while supporting specialists and stakeholders in fulfilling their mandates.
