The Senior Manager, Learning Design & Innovation is responsible for leading the Instructional Design team while advancing innovative, scalable approaches that improve the quality, speed, and impact of learning solutions across TAG. Reporting to the Director of Learning Design, this role provides direct leadership, coaching, and development to Instructional Designers and ensures strong execution across the design and development lifecycle, including leadership for AI-enabled solutions, rapid-development methods, simulations, and gamification.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Instructional Design team, providing direct leadership, coaching, performance management, and ongoing development
• Oversee learning design execution and quality from initial discovery through implementation
• Translate Learning Design strategy into clear team priorities, standards, and development expectations
• Lead AI-enabled learning solutions and efficiencies, identifying and implementing responsible uses of AI across the design and development lifecycle
• Advance innovative learning approaches such as simulations, scenario-based learning, gamification, and rapid-development methods
• Lead pilots and proofs of concept, and scale successful innovations across L&D
• Build learning design standards, templates, and reusable resources
• Measure learning design and innovation impact using project data, learner feedback, and business inputs

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in instructional design or learning innovation
• 7+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or learning experience design
• 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, or directly managing learning professionals
• Strong experience leading medium- to large-scale learning initiatives from discovery through implementation
• Experience applying adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and performance consulting
• Experience exploring or implementing AI-enabled learning solutions and emerging learning technologies

Starting at $119,000 DOE + 15% bonus opportunity.
