Microsoft Elevate is seeking a Policy Program Manager to work in a fast-paced environment to assist members of the Global Education and Workforce Policy team and to provide related policy research, analysis, and reporting, including programmatic support and project management. The candidate will engage in and should be very familiar with AI literacy and related frameworks and efforts, and policy issues related to AI, education, and the workforce. The position will work closely with US and global government affairs, the Elevate Capacity Building Solutions team, and others across CELA and Microsoft. This role will take the lead in coordinating and facilitating some of the Global Education and Workforce Policy team’s most important work, including engagement with key organizations, associations, government agencies. This role will report directly to the GM, Global Education and Workforce Policy.
The ideal candidate is a content developer, systems-thinker, avid listener, quick learner, problem-solver, creative, motivated, and personable, capable of building strong relationships, and has a strong drive for practical outcomes. Ability to communicate well and critical, proactive thinking are a must. This person should have strong technology skills to support evangelism of Microsoft’s products, services, and positions across a range of collaboration, social and productivity platforms. In addition, this person may represent the team’s work to various audiences.

Government Affairs IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,300 – $171,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,300 – $187,100 per year.
